Tonight, Mars—the sacred masculine planet—moves from fiery Leo into earthy Virgo. In Leo, Mars carries the energy of the king, bold and expressive. But as he enters Virgo, the energy shifts into something more grounded and refined. Virgo brings us into priestess or druid territory—calling us to honor the sacred, to slow down, and to pay attention to what’s meaningful.

This shift aligns beautifully with Friday’s Cancer Solstice, when the Sun stands still on the horizon, marking the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere (and the longest night in the Southern Hemisphere). This is a potent moment for ceremony and reflection. Virgo Mars reminds us to attune to the sacred and honor this solar turning point intentionally.
