I was hidden in a rental car, parked outside a stranger’s house, stalking my boyfriend.
Not my proudest moment.

But I had to know.

This wasn’t the first time I’d suspected he was cheating. For years, he’d convinced me I was crazy—paranoid, jealous, too emotional. He gaslit me so effectively that I no longer trusted my own gut. And that gut? It had been screaming at me for a long time.

As Mars enters Libra this week, it’s the perfect time to talk about relationships—especially the ones that reflect our deepest wounds back to us.

See, I was raised by a mentally ill mother who constantly gaslit me. I learned young that my perception of reality couldn’t be trusted. That my intuition was flawed. That I was always “too much” or “too sensitive.”

So when my boyfriend told me I was overreacting, I believed him.

Every time I felt clarity, he’d find the crack in it—and twist it into shame.
That’s the shadow side of Libra: losing trust in ourselves in the face of relationships that feel out of balance.

But back to that night.

I waited for hours until the sun began to rise—and finally, I saw him walk out of her house with another woman.

And the first thing I felt wasn’t rage.
It was relief.

I wasn’t crazy.
I wasn’t paranoid.
I had known all along.

And in that moment, I finally trusted myself—possibly for the first time ever.

This is the light side of Libra: radical self-trust.

Later that day, I packed up my things, left the state, and began the long drive back to Colorado. It was the first step into my real life—not as a victim, but as a woman reclaiming herself.

Mars entering Libra offers us this exact opportunity—not necessarily through heartbreak or drama (please, goddess, no)—but through awareness.

Libra is the mirror. Our relationships reflect back the truth of who we are, how we see ourselves, and what we need to heal.

So what are your relationships showing you right now?

  • Are they filled with love, honesty, and gratitude?

  • Or are they laced with self-doubt, projection, or confusion?

  • Do you feel seen, heard, and held?

  • Or do you second-guess yourself more than you feel supported?

Mars brings action—so this week is about moving from awareness to aligned steps.

Whether it’s journaling honestly about what’s working and what’s not, expressing gratitude to a partner, or beginning the process of letting go of a toxic dynamic, this is the time.

That one moment of self-trust changed everything for me. Not just because I left my last toxic relationship, but because I finally started listening to my inner knowing.
That knowing led me through deep healing, through life coaching certifications, and into the work I now do today—helping midlife women untangle from trauma and return to their sacred power using astrology as a guide.

I’ve now been in a healthy, trusting, no-stalking-required marriage for almost 20 years. It’s possible.

And it all started with one brave moment of listening to the whisper within.

You don’t need to sit in a rental car to reclaim your power.

You just need to get honest with yourself—and take one small step toward your truth.

So let me ask you:

🌕 What is one thing you can do this week to nourish your relationships?

  • Express your truth?

  • Acknowledge something that’s not working?

  • Ask for help?

Whatever it is, do it for you.

And if you need support? I offer free Astro Life Coaching calls to help you uncover what’s blocking you, using your birth chart as the map.
