Jupiter enters Cancer today, expanding how we nurture—not just others, but ourselves, too. And with the Full Moon in Sagittarius lighting up the sky, it’s a powerful moment to pause and ask: What will you celebrate about yourself this week?

Jupiter in Cancer: Expansion Through Nurturing

This afternoon (here in Colorado), Jupiter moves into Cancer. Cancer is a sign deeply connected to care, emotion, and service. It’s the archetype of the healthy mother—not just the one who gives, but the one who knows she must fill her own cup first.

Jupiter expands what it touches. Think of it like adding drops of steroids—it makes things bigger, for better or for worse. If something’s already working well, Jupiter brings abundance. If something’s off, Jupiter magnifies it so we can see what needs to shift.

Jupiter doesn’t judge—it offers clarity. It’s a Middle World planet (a concept I learned in the Shamanic Astrology Mystery School), meaning it affects our day-to-day lives in tangible, growth-oriented ways.

So what part of your chart holds Cancer? Whether or not you have planets there, Jupiter will activate that area, amplifying the Cancerian themes in your life: nurturing, emotional connection, service, and yes—self-care.

Cancer’s Lesson: Fill Your Own Cup

Cancer energy teaches us how to give sustainably. Not from depletion, but from a place of fullness. It’s about cultivating a healthy kind of selfishness—the one that allows us to show up in service from a place of strength and authenticity.

This could show up in many forms: how you care for your body, how you nurture a business or garden, or how you mother yourself and others.

Personally, I have a stellium in Cancer—my Sun, Venus, and Mars all clustered there. As Jupiter moves through this part of my chart, I know it will stir a lot. My Venus and Mars are currently in the underworld, and Chiron is square that stellium—so there’s big potential for healing, shadow work, and reclaiming inner balance between my masculine and feminine expressions.

But here’s the thing: astrology is never a mandate. It’s not predictive in a rigid way. Jupiter could bring ease and joy—or deep emotional work. I don’t want to project fear. Instead, I’m choosing to stay open to the opportunity. That’s the magic of astrology—it offers us invitations, not rules.

The Full Moon in Sagittarius: Celebrate Your Quest

The Full Moon in Sagittarius arrives early Wednesday morning (or late Tuesday night, depending on your time zone). Sagittarius is the seeker, the quester, the philosopher. Full Moons are always times of illumination, celebration, and connection. So this week, ask yourself:

✨ Where are you on a quest in your life?
✨ What is your current truth, and how is it evolving?
✨ Where can you celebrate your growth?

Let the Sagittarius Moon remind you to see the big picture, to laugh, to seek meaning, and to keep learning.

Mark Your Calendar: Free Solstice Ceremony

And don’t forget—the Solstice is next week! I’ll be teaching a free Solstice ceremony + astro life coaching class on June 20th called Unlock Your True Potential. It’s open to all, and yes, there will be a replay. But if you can join live, I’ll be doing some spot coaching!

Wishing you an empowered and nurturing week. May Jupiter in Cancer help you remember that your care for others begins with your care for you.
