Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
Purchases
If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your name, address, email and phone number. Your credit card information goes through the third-party payment service Stripe and none of your credit card information is stored on this website.
For all Wisdom of the Earth essential oils, hydrolats, aromakits or books purchased there are NO REFUNDS. Exchanges for unopened only products within two weeks of purchase. You are responsible for all additional shipping costs. If a bottle arrives broken or leaking, please document clearly by photograph the damage and how much is missing from leaked bottle to be replaced. Check your box carefully to make sure you collected all of your purchases from the box. Wisdom of the Earth triple checks each order which does not allow for errors in shipping the correct contents of your order.
For all other service purchases, refunds are available before the service has been fulfilled, minus the third-party payment, Stripe, fees charged to Sheridan Semple at the time of your purchase. See exceptions to Medicinal Aromatherapy Certification course here:
Cancellation Policy for Wisdom of the Earth Medicinal Aromatherapy Certification Level 1
- If the WOTE Level 1 Class is canceled by the Teacher, your full deposit/payment will be refunded or transferred to a future class date, whichever you prefer.
- If you cancel 30 days or more before the start of the class, you will be refunded all monies minus the cost of any supplies already mailed to you and credit card fees, if applicable, OR you may transfer the full amount paid to a future class date ONE TIME ONLY. Please Note: ONLY ONE TRANSFER to a future class date is permitted, after that the refund part of the policy applies.
- If you cancel less than 30 days before the class date, you forfeit your entire Tuition. WOTE and your Teacher have spent time and energy preparing for you. Plus, it is usually quite difficult for others on a waiting list to prepare and attend the class on short notice.
- If a cancellation, within the 30 days before start of class, is due to an unavoidable emergency, the full amount can be transferred to a future class date ONE TIME ONLY.
