Welcome to Moon Mondays! I’m Sheridan, your AstroLife Coach—guiding women to align with the cosmos, live with clarity and purpose, and turn inner knowing into real-life transformation.
This Monday marks a major celestial shift: Uranus just entered Gemini for the first time since 1942—yes, during World War II. Sobering, right? And it’s not the only planetary shake-up we’re experiencing right now.
A Wave of Outer Planet Shifts
-
Neptune recently entered Aries for the first time since 1862—during the American Civil War.
-
Saturn moved into Aries for the first time since 1996.
-
Jupiter just entered Cancer, last seen in 2013.
This isn’t just a history lesson—it’s a reminder that the outer planets are shifting archetypal energies all at once. These changes affect the collective, and they impact us on a personal level, too.
Uranus in Gemini: Breaking Out of the Box
Uranus is the planet of change, disruption, and awakening. Gemini is also about disruption—quick, mutable, always shifting. Both Uranus and Gemini are connected to the air element, so this brings up themes of the nervous system, thinking, awareness, and consciousness.
Together, they’re calling us to break out of old boxes—the ways we’ve always done things—and to awaken to new awareness. Uranus helps us connect with universal consciousness, just like Neptune. In Shamanic Astrology, these are upper-world planets—guides that help us attune to spirit, the goddess, and higher ideals.
This is in contrast to middle-world planets like Saturn and Jupiter (our day-to-day lives), and underworld planets like Pluto and Chiron, which push us through shadow work and deep transformation.
Venus in the Mix & the Feminine Rising
As Uranus entered Gemini, it was still closely aligned with Venus. This suggests that some of this disruption and awakening may relate to consciousness around the Divine Feminine—a rising tide of empowerment. Yes, we’re seeing a lot of pushback from old patriarchal structures, but that resistance often signals the threat of change. The balance between feminine and masculine energies is beginning to shift, and this is ultimately good for everyone, no matter how we identify.
Uranus Trine Pluto: Composting for Conscious Change
Uranus is also forming a trine with Pluto, creating flowing energy between two deeply transformative planets. Even though a trine is easier than a square, it still shakes things up—it invites us to compost the old, disrupt the outdated, and make space for conscious, empowering transformation.
Change Starts Within
And let’s remember—change always begins with us.
This week’s Capricorn Full Moon, opposite the Cancer Sun, highlights this truth. Both Capricorn and Cancer are cardinal signs, part of what Shamanic Astrology calls the “serving others” archetypes. The entire moon cycle—Cancer New Moon, Libra First Quarter, and now the Capricorn Full Moon—is anchored in these signs.
The shadow side? Over-giving, over-serving, self-abandonment. As women, we’re especially conditioned to do this. Society praises our martyrdom—but it depletes us.
So the real invitation? Replenish before you give. You can’t serve from an empty cup. We’re not our best selves when we’re exhausted and overextended. This moon cycle reminds us to nurture ourselves first.
A Personal Check-In
This hit home for me recently. With all the Cancer activation in my chart, I found myself over-busy, pushing too hard, ignoring my own needs. It became crystal clear: I had to make a change. I’m hiring a virtual assistant—finally!—so I can focus on what I love in my business: writing, teaching, coaching, and astrology.
That realization felt like a check engine light blinking on my dashboard. I wasn’t aligned. I needed to stop and ask, What’s not working here? It’s a small step, but it matters. If I don’t nurture myself, I’m not modeling the empowered feminine I stand for.
Saturn & Neptune Retrograde: A Time to Reflect
This week also brings Saturn’s retrograde, following Neptune’s recent retrograde—both planets shifting between Aries and Pisces, between the individual and the collective. We’re at a liminal edge: How do we balance our soul’s call with the needs of the greater whole?
Pause, Listen, and Align
With all this shifting energy, you don’t need to have it all figured out. Just pause. Listen. Course correct. Ask what you need. Honor what you hear.
And if you want support tuning into yourself more deeply through the rhythms of the moon, I invite you to check out Moon Sisters Circle—a sacred space where we align with the lunar cycle, reclaim our inner wisdom, and reconnect with the truth of who we are beneath the noise.

See you next week—when Mercury joins the retrograde party (don’t worry, we’ll navigate that together too!).
Wishing you a grounded, empowered, sacred feminine week.
