Election Day is coming in hot, like a Powder Panda barreling into the maze at Buttermilk. Hoping we don’t get bowled over by infantile mindsets, I wish I had some secret star knowledge to share with you. I don’t. I’m not a predictive astrologer.
In stressful times like these, I wouldn’t mind having that psychic skill set. Wouldn’t it be nice to know ahead of time what’s going to happen with our little airport and our next president? We could then spend the next two days imagining the smooth butter turns we’ll soon be making at the “Milk” instead.
On Election Day, the moon is in Capricorn squaring the nodes. Mars, newly into Leo, is opposite Pluto. There’s a lot to forage here. Pluto is completing its time in Capricorn now. It moves into Aquarius for good on Nov. 19. Pluto encourages us, often forcefully, into facing our shadow beliefs. Capricorn is the sign of structure and foundation. Pluto moving through Capricorn has shined its light on the dark underbelly gouges in our local ski base — mirroring the macrocosm of our country. We think the other side has been duped, ignorant to what’s really going on. Hating on our neighbors and friends, we’re chiseling our way through the politically charged scree field.
Will sanity return come Tuesday night or with Pluto’s ingress into Aquarius? I’m not holding my high-altitude hypoxic breath.
