We start the week with the Sun in Virgo, Venus in Libra and the Moon entering Sagittarius today. The Sun in Virgo brings the end of a season, change and transition to fall. Tropical astrology is about the seasons. What are you feeling? What do you notice?
Tuesday, the moon and sun square off for the waxing Sagittarius half-moon. This is the second phase in the moon’s cycle, coming off the Virgo new moon last Monday. If you set a monthly intention last week — which I highly recommend — then this first quarter moon is a checkpoint.
On Wednesday the Moon enters Capricorn, now into an earth sign. This brings a practicality to Sagittarius’ vision and can help us in taking those necessary steps from the half-moon. Capricorn wants to build the structure to uphold your vision. How does the moon entering Capricorn feel for you?
The Moon enters Aquarius on Saturday and we get some space. We can detach and see the larger picture. We get to step back and see what we’ve been building with our actions during this waxing phase of the moon. Or what steps we need to take next. Venus trines Jupiter as well, so there is an infusion of empowering energy brought into the feminine. Lets use it!
