Moon Mondays

Align with Cosmic Cycles to Create a Life of Clarity and Purpose

Check out this week’s Moon Mondays video below…

Today the moon is in Cancer, moving into Leo, the sun is in Aquarius, and Venus is now in Aries. Lots of fire and air activated in our lives again this week. Fire is about trusting our gut, our intuition, and air is about awareness and consciousness. This is a good time to keep tuning into yourself and following whatever feels like the next right step for you.

Align with Cosmic Cycles to Create a Life of Clarity and Purpose.

I’m Sheridan, your Astrology Life Coach, here with this week’s woman-centered insights.

The moon is in Cancer until about noon Mountain Time today, Monday, when it shifts into more fire—into Leo. Cancer teaches us about unconditional love and nurturing ourselves and others. We can’t do anything for others when we’re running on fumes.

Next comes Leo, who teaches us about self-love. First, we need to take care of ourselves and then we learn to love ourselves. That’s a which comes first the chicken or the egg kind of puzzle. Do we learn to love ourselves so we can begin taking care of ourselves? Cancer to Leo and Leo to Cancer. The wheel can move either direction.

Wednesday is the Leo full moon. Look for it on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, as the exact full moon is early Wednesday morning. The moon is opposite the sun, rising at sunset and setting at sunrise. Last month I was out early in the morning and was able to witness the moon setting exactly as the sun rose. Literally the moon was halfway set into the mountain and opposite that the sun was halfway risen out of the mountain. It was sooooo cooool to see! This is the stuff that lights me up and why I’m passionate about teaching you to experience astrology for yourself, outside in nature, where it’s all happening!

So, Leo full moon is on Wednesday morning. Leo loves being the full moon, all lit up, with our adoring gaze revering it! Leo is the sign that knows it is literally the divine incarnate, the divine here on earth in our little bodies. Leo wants us to consciously embrace our divinity and embody it. That’s where the self-love comes in. If we know we are the goddess in our bodies, than we feel the love of the goddess within us. That’s Leo. Feel that power rushing through you right now. It’s exhilarating!

Late Wednesday night the moon enters Virgo, still appearing full on Wednesday night, and the moon moves from the divinity of Leo’s self-love into the divinity of the Virgo’s priestess nature, serving the divine with her sacred work. What is your sacred work in the world? Do you know? Do you have an idea? Keep allowing yourself to connect with you and you’ll find it or uncover it more if you already have an inkling or know. We all have a sacred purpose, and our job is to align our human self with our soul self’s purpose. You’ve got a lifetime to figure it out, so don’t lose faith. Keep doing the work to uncover your soul self and you’ll get there. Listen within, not to all the external chatter from society or your well-meaning people. Just keep listening to you, one second, one breath at a time.

On Friday, Mercury enters Pisces moving farther away from the sun. Mercury is how we think and Pisces is heart-based thinking—discerning from our hearts. I invite you to let your heart do the thinking and trust what comes up for you. Pisces has got you and will hold your heart dear.

On Saturday the moon enters Libra and the mental realm is stimulated once again. Libra’s focus is around understanding itself through others—through its relationships. How does the moon entering Libra, an air sign, feel to you? How are your relationships feeling to you? This Libra moon can help shine some light on that for you. Trust what awarenesses you receive.

Lastly, some astro-aromatherapy for all us plant medicine lovers out there. I love Ylang Ylang for Leo, for self-love, and for opening our hearts. Ylang Ylang is a powerful flower essence that heals our hearts, supports us in doing the work to heal our hearts and encourages us to love our Leo selves.
