I’m a nature woman. My passion is the outdoors, day or night. I make art that reflects the beauty and power of nature.
My intention is to inspire the viewer to connect with nature more deeply.
I adhere prints of my photographs to birch boards and apply the encaustic medium (mixture of beeswax and fir resin)
The images are textured from the encaustic, adding an ethereal element, inviting the viewer into the image.
Encaustic both protects the images and enhances the sensory experience.
